Who We Are 4HEALINGSM is an information services company founded in 2002 providing unbiased outcomes-based performance reporting on healthcare practitioners. We are the only firm that has developed and proven a corporate benefit plan with processes that utilize real, transparent quality metrics and science standards to significantly lower employer health costs and improve employee health and productivity. Like Dun & Bradstreet® in the financial sector and Consumer Reports® in the consumer products sector, the company uses proven proprietary processes to capture and report unbiased outcomes data on individual healthcare practitioners’ success working with specific conditions. To date, we are the only company in this space. We are not aligned with any organization, special interest, or modality of treatment. The Company structures and provides services with this information to bring significant value to its clients. Currently, the Company uses the information to improve results for corporate health benefit plans and create or enhance Health and Productivity (HPM) programs for self-insured companies.
4HEALING is specifically designed to achieve successful health outcomes for it’s clients employees and significantly reduce employer healthcare costs. We are the only source available for a patient or practitioner to find an optimal practitioner for the patient’s specific problem based on the practitioner’s demonstrated success treating that problem from unbiased outcomes-based reporting. Results in Denver have proven to substantially reduce healthcare costs, reduce absenteeism, and improve outcomes for 4HEALING members. The Company’s business combines proprietary tools, processes and comprehensive service to optimize the employee’s access to appropriate healthcare: the latest science, deep, relevant information on practitioners, feedback from each member and practitioner, and HIPAA compliant reporting. The predominant methods people use to select a practitioner are a) the doctor is part of my insurance plan and b) the doctor has a "good reputation" or was recommended by my primary care doctor; and c) they are they close to my home or office

The data clearly showed that doctor "reputations" match outcomes only 16% of the time. Or, looking at it the other way, 84% of the time there is at least one other practitioner in your area who has demonstrated superior outcomes that may not be known by anyone except 4Healing. Moreover, the practitioner with the best outcomes may not even be eligible for the health insurance you have. One of the most significant problems in healthcare today is that doctors do not know their own outcomes, much less the outcomes of specialists to whom they refer you. There is no other source available anywhere that tracks practitioner success by practitioner, by condition. The 4HEALING Benefit Plan offers employees the opportunity to find the right healthcare practitioner and therapies based on the practitioner’s success treating the employee’s specific problem. Payers save because they avoid the 50%-80 of healthcare costs normally paid by employers that are unnecessary and/or inappropriate. Employees covered by the 4HEALING Benefit Plan simply call 4Healing when they have a health or wellness concern. They speak with one of our highly-trained counselors (most of whom are nurses), who help them select a practitioner who has demonstrated success for their specific problem, based on our unique Outcomes-Based reporting. The counselor not only helps provide the employees with the critical information only available through 4Healing, but will also set up the appointment, collect feedback, etc. The counselor helps the employee access the practitioner who has had success with the employees problem with the most effective, least invasive scientifically validated therapy. 4HEALING has one commitment: Successful Health Outcomes for the Patient. We focus on the science of healthcare instead of the business of healthcare. We are not aligned with any group, specialty, modality or special interest. 4Healing assembles the largest network of practitioners in each area from multiple specialties and modalities. All have agreed to subject their practices to the rigorous scrutiny of Evidence-Based/Outcomes-Based Medicine. Without 4HEALING, the employee must rely upon word-of-mouth or a doctor's referral (Practitioners do not know their own outcomes, much less the outcomes of the other doctors they refer you to). Many employees must select some practitioner from an insurance list which cannot tell them if that practitioner ever treated this condition, and hope for the best. The employee then starts the costly treatment cycle of the business of medicine rather than the science of medicine. The employer pays a much higher cost with less desirable results. Companies are outsourcing the healthcare “henhouse” to the “foxes”. Companies outsource perhaps their largest, most uncontrollable expense (employee healthcare) to insurance carriers acting as Third Party Administrators (TPA). These companies impose outdated restrictions that ignore the science of medicine. These practices and restrictions actually impede patient health progress and significantly drive up costs. |
